White Teas

Not only taste but also divine power is hidden in white tea. It owes this to the unopened buds of the tea plant and to the tea leaves picked shortly after the buds open from which this delicious tea is made. White tea also contains a good amount of antioxidants.

Enjoy the delicate taste of rare white tea

Compared to green and black tea, white tea is the least processed and thus retains a high amount of antioxidants. It is loaded with polyphenols - specifically catechins. Polyphenols are plant molecules that have antioxidant properties and protect our cells from damage by compounds called free radicals.

It is made by collecting tea tree buds and leaves before they are fully open. White tea got its name from the fact that the buds have tiny white hairs at the time of harvest. White tea leaves are younger and less processed than other types of tea. The liquid made from the infusion of young tea leaves and unopened buds has a light yellow shade and the finest taste of all teas.
