Its sweetness is almost identical to that of beet sugar, and most importantly, its glycemic index is 35! Coconut nectar contains ten times more zinc, four times more magnesium and twice as much iron as brown sugar. In addition, it is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6 and vitamin C, as well as medium-chain fatty acids.
